Watch out for a posterior cruciate ligament condition

Posterior cruciate ligament injury occurs when the posterior cruciate ligament and the anterior cruciate ligament, which connect the thigh bone (femur) to the shin bone (tibia), are torn. This causes pain, swelling and a feeling of instability.

It is very important that you take care of your knees avoiding impacts that can generate an injury like this one. Commonly, people who play sports may suffer blows or perform movements that affect the knee.

If you have any of the symptoms shown in this video, schedule an appointment with me for an evaluation.
